From the north, take I-81 south to Cortland, follow NY 13 across the city. Just after crossing Main St look for NY 215 left to Virgil.
From the south, take I-81 to Marathon, follow US 11 north for a few miles, then take a left on NY 392. Virgil is about 6 miles away.
From the west, take NY 13 to Dryden; instead of turning left to follow NY 13 at the center of the village, go straight ahead on NY 392 for about 6 miles.
From the east, you'll wind up in Cortland, probably; take the directions "from the north."
