Remember to wear a helmet and bring water!
Hope to see all of you on your bikes in May!!
PS A couple years ago these women rides were organized by LiLynn Graves who championed a national women’s cycling team called Velo Bella (see the link above). Velo Bella originates in California but has women involved at all levels all over the country. The Velo Bella mission is to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle through cycling and laughter. We inspire women to get out and ride a bike, race a bike, and to eventually grow the pool of talent and have a lot of fun along the way. While the core Velo Bella Team is a committed group of female racers, membership includes female cyclists interested in completing their first race, century, or even group ride. I am the NY/CT Velo Bella administrator so any questions or interest in representing VB’s in a race or ride you can talk with me , Kara Frostclapp or Holly Monkman!
