WHEN:
Registration 9:00 AM – 10:45.
Day of race only.
Entry fee $10
WHO:
Kids race (free) starts at 10:00.
Adults (men, women, juniors, masters…) starts at 11:00.
Open Men’s category will be approximately 1 hour. The race length for other categories will be determined taking into account the wishes of those who sign up.
Races are not part of any championship or series, and are not sanctioned by the USCF, so no licenses are required. Mountain bikes are welcome.
FREE FOOD:
There are no prizes, but there will be food and drink for all. Come and enjoy !
WHERE:
The Swandrome is located about 4 miles east of Ithaca atop Mt. Pleasant at #226 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Some simple directions for getting there are as follows: Get yourself to the intersection of route 13 and route 366 (near NYSEG, HEP, Treeforms, and a Valero gas station). Turn west onto 366 and proceed about 100m, looking for Baker Hill Rd on your left. Turn left onto Baker Hill and go up steeply for about a mile until you get to the only intersection on the whole road. Turn right onto Mt. Pleasant Rd. Proceed west for exactly .7 mile, looking for #226 on the right. A power line crosses over the road at the end of the driveway and the mailbox is on the right hanging from a green pole by bicycle inner tubes… Follow the driveway in and look for signs for parking in the field to your left. If you miss the driveway, you will get to the edge of the earth and find yourself looking down a steep hill… turn around.
